At Running ‘S’ Equine we diagnose and treat a wide range of equine ocular conditions including congenital problems, infections, neoplasia, and are skilled in the recognition of ocular manifestations of systemic disease. In addition, we provide surgical treatment of many routine and complex ocular problems including the placement of subpalpebral lavage systems and conjunctival flaps and grafts.

Conditions Routinely Diagnosed and Treated Include:

  • Corneal lesions, infections and lacerations
  • Uveitis and its complications
  • Ocular trauma & foreign bodies
  • Glaucoma
  • Eosinophilic keratitis

Conjunctival Pedicle Graft 6 weeks
At about six weeks after graft placement, the pedicle has been cut as the graft has successful "taken" and healed the cornea.
